Hebrew
Elohim | amar | asah | adam(ah) | tselem | demuth | radah… erets
English
The Lord God, The Trinity | uttered out loud| let Us accomplish |in red clay/ the Earth |in Our Images | in Our Likeness | let them reign/chastise…over all lands
So in essence, God gave us the ability to reign over or chastise the various challenges that life throws at us.
Dont abuse or misuse that idea. Meditate on it. Pause and we’ll talk about it when comes to relationships. So be patient 🙂

Each one of us has experienced disappointment, discouragement
God put the ability to hurt in you to remind you of greatness
So when you mess and feel guilty. Guilt isnt for keeping you down. Its a self-disappointment. Its a reminder that you were made for and can be much more. Check this out…

WP-Bible plugin |9 Now I rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that your sorrow led to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly manner, that you might suffer loss from us in nothing. 10 For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death.
See sorrow – the Bible version of the word guilt… sorrow in the Bible is motivating, life-changing if its from God. So check yourself. When God makes you sorry it uplifts you. When the devil does it, it tears you down.
But we digress we’re here to talk about Eve!
The first not good statement in Genesis
“It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him” (Genesis 2:18Genesis 2:18

So God created Eve as “a helper fit for him” (Genesis 2:18Genesis 2:18

WP-Bible pluginb). Fit = comparable, correct
So… check it out. What’s going on here. Adam was alone. But God said … its not good. So despite what alot of the narrative around women is…in God’s mind the existence of women is good!
Pause on that a moment. Digest it. Don’t just read and move on.
But wait! There’s more! 🙂
What’s this idea of a helper who is fit? Lets look at the original Hebrew used here for a moment.
- So God created Eve as “a helper fit for him” (Genesis 2:18Genesis 2:18

WP-Bible pluginb). - the hebrew root word here is: neged: which means in front of, in sight of,
- aloof, away, distance, resist,
- other side, opposite to
- presence, risked,
- suitable
Uh wow. God created, for Adam, a being who was in front of him, or aloof from him or able to resist him (some of the ladies need to hear that and so do some of the men!)
God create Eve with presence, or that Adam has to take a risk when he comes into her presence.
Or that Eve was in every way … suitable, an equal to Adam
Meaning that reigning or chastising creation or having dominion over all that God had created … was intended to be done … in partnership – between Adam and Eve or man and woman
So how did God do this

Was it really necessary for Eve to be made out of Adam’s rib?
Eve also needed to be related to Adam—if she had been created out of the earth, she would be a completely independent creation. But in a unique way, Eve was descended from Adam, because she was made from a part of him.
Calvin comments “something was taken from Adam, in order that he might embrace with greater benevolence, a part of himself. He lost, therefore, one of his ribs; but, instead of it, a far richer reward was granted him, since he obtained a faithful associate of life; for he now saw himself, who had before been imperfect, rendered complete in his wife.”

WP-Bible plugin New King James Version (NKJV) - 28 So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself.
- 29 For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.
Hope its all making sense – why together we are God’s image and His likeness?
Ok lets land this thing then!
Why is God called, or why is Christ called our Redeemer
Parables of the Hidden treasure and the Pearl Matthew 13.
- 44 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
- 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.”
-The Lord sold everything He had, on the Cross, using the blood of Christ to buy you
- NT: Parables of Luke 15 – of
- the lost sheep,
- the lost coin,
- the lost son
- = Jesus mathematics
-Jesus is saying, even if it was just you I would have come down here and died for you
Whats the point?
From the very beginning – we were related to God
- Luke 3:36-38Luke 3:36-38

We were always meant to have God as our Father. We were always meant to be related to divinity by blood.
